Fans of the malevolent Lucius Malfoy will miss his patented brand of platinum blonde magic in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the next installment of the enchanting film series opening November 21st, but actor Jason Isaacs promises he'll be back hurling all kinds of harrowing hexes at the students of Hogwarts in the final two(!) films based on the concluding novel, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." Newly-penned 'Potter prequel' sold at an auction and it's now available online

A mini-prequel penned by JK Rowling to her blockbuster "Harry Potter" series of books went up for bids in London this month. The auction of the 800-word short story comes less than a year after the seventh and final tome in the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" went on sale. The proceeds went to two charities: English PEN, which promotes the freedom to write around the world, and Dyslexia Action. This handwritten Harry Potter prequel was auctioned off in London tonight, fetching a remarkable $48,900 and it's now available online; Waterstone's has posted it so you can read it here. Enjoy! ... Robert Know who would play Marcus Belby in the new Harry Potter film was stabbed to death in the early hours of this saturday.
Robert Knox, 18, was murdered outside the Metro bar in Sidcup, southeast London, as he tried to protect his brother Jamie who is 16, from a knifeman.Last night, Robert’s parents, Sally, a buyer for Marks & Spencer, and Colin, who is thought to work in advertising, paid tribute to their son in a statement:

After almost 10 years, Harry Potter won't be on the NY Time's bestsellers list

Next week, for the first time in almost nine and a half years, Harry Potter will not appear on the New York Times bestseller list. The New York Times's article reminds readers that it first appeared on December 27, 1998, and that after a year and a half with the books clogging the top spots, the paper split its list into childre's and adults versions. The article notes that the books are probably going to re-emerge on the list when the movie of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is released in November, but we're not sure and even if it's true, this are big news. Actress Helen McCrory has been interviewed by the Daily Mail in which she talks about her career, life and her role as Narcissa Malfoy in the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film. Helen briefly discusses her role as Narcissa in the sixth film saying: “Just wait for me to be wicked and witchy.” As readers will remember, due to her pregnancy during the “Order of the Phoenix” filming, she was unable to take on the role of Bellatrix Lestrange in that film, but, the article notes, was instead offered the role of Bellatrix’s sister, Narcissa, in the “Half-Blood Prince” and “Deathly Hallows” films. ...
