Harry Potter Conference "Infinitus"

Infinitus: A Harry Potter Conference is officially only 12 days away, and there have been lots of updates for attendees.
Probably the most exciting update for attendees refers to the Costuming Policy that Universal Orlando has in place for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The statement from Universal is as follows:
"It has been decided that leniency with our costume policy will be extended specifically for our Infinitus Night of a Thousand Wizards event. Guests will be allowed to wear their costumes in the parks, beginning at 2pm, on the date of their event – July 16th.
So what does this mean for attendees? It means that on July 16, from 2pm until the "Night of a Thousand Wizards" after-hours event in the park, Infinitus attendees only will be allowed to wear costumes in the park – along specific guidelines – as long as they provide proof that they are attending the conference (in other words, registration badges must be prominently displayed at all times within the park). ... The official website of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", announced the first official teaser poster for the two-parts film.
The poster very ominously shows a battle-torn Hogwarts, along with the caption "It all ends here".
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows begins with Part 1 on November 19, 2010, with the series finale being released July 15, 2011.

Emma Watson Absent From Harry Potter Theme Park Grand Opening

Harry Potter fans can now live their fantasies in the Harry Potter-themed portion of Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. To celebrate this momentous event, the red carpet was rolled out for the stars of the film to strut.
The mini park is just a small portion of Universal's Island of Adventures featuring a number of shops featured in the films and books and only three rides. The Forbidden Journey is a life-like experience through the world of Harry Potter. The only other two rides are older roller coasters that were given a new theme to go along with the mini park.
Absent was Emma Watson, who plays the clever young Hermione Granger in the series. Why? She's currently trying out the college life and studying at Brown University.

Teen Choice Awards 2010

Hello friends! Emma is nominated for "Best Fantasy Actress" in the Teen Choice Awards 2010.
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been nominated in the Choice Movie: Fantasy category at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. "Half-Blood Prince" will be competing with "New Moon," "Alice in Wonderland," "Clash of the Titans" and "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."
Additionally, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) has been nominated in the Choice Movie Actress: Fantasy category alongside Kristen Stewart, Gemma Arterton, Rosario Dawson and Mia Wasikowska. Cedric Diggory actor Robert Pattinson received a nomination in the Choice Movie Actor: Fantasy category for his role as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" films, as well as nominations for "Choice Movie: Drama" and "Choice Movie Actor: Drama" for his leading role in the film "Remember Me."
The awards ceremony will be hosted by Katy Perry and shown on Monday, August 9th at 8/7c on FOX. You can find the full list of nominations on the Teen Choice Awards website. And remember to cast your vote everyday!

Harry Potter Stars Emotional as They Set to Wrap Final Film

They've spent a decade together. Now down to the last two weeks of shooting on the final Harry Potter film, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are facing the end of the magical ride with heavy hearts.
"I will be devastated [when it's over]," Radcliffe, 20, said Wednesday at the National Movie Awards in London. "There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end."

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" won the Best Family Film at the 2010 National Movie Awards. The Harry Potter series also won a special recognition award. Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright were there to accept the award. Congratulations!

Top Secret Potter Script Found In British Bar

A top secret script for the final HARRY POTTER movie was found abandoned in an English pub after the film's crew left it behind on a boozy night out.
A reveller discovered the screenplay for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a bar in Hertfordshire, England - near to the studio where the final instalment of the wizard franchise is filmed.
